This piece was created around the idea of quiet self-reflection — the kind that happens when things slow down and insight has room to surface.

Set against a black background, the artwork holds a sense of depth rather than darkness. It feels like still water at night or the inner space we enter when distractions fall away.

Silver dominates the foreground, and that choice was intentional.

Silver is reflective by nature. It mirrors, clarifies, and brings awareness without emotional charge.

In this piece, it represents conscious awareness — the part of us that can observe without judgment.

Running through the center are soft tones of periwinkle blue. Blue carries a calming frequency and supports communication and emotional safety. Here, it softens the depth, creating the sense that going inward doesn’t have to be intense or overwhelming. Reflection can be gentle.

Subtle metallic copper and gold tones add warmth and grounding, reminding us that insight isn’t meant to stay abstract — it’s meant to integrate into real life.

The cellular patterning gives the artwork a layered feel, like different levels of awareness existing at once. The effect is similar to bubbles rising through water — insight emerging naturally from the depths rather than being forced to the surface.

The beadwork echoes this theme. Multifaceted silver beads catch and reflect light from different angles, symbolizing the many parts of ourselves we come to understand through honest self-examination. As the light changes, so does what you see — just like self-awareness itself.

For me, the mandala represents unity, rising consciousness, and the ripple effect — the idea that when one person raises their vibration, it affects the whole. It also echoes the sun: energy gathering, radiating outward.
